Dr Derick de JonghThe evening will be celebrated with a cocktail of wisdom with magic that is reflective of the Vega philosophy. Clinch Crew, the title holders of the 'best hip hop crew' in South Africa will wow the audience with their dance routines that they will take to the International Hip Hop champions in Los Angeles. Dr Derick de Jongh, director of the newly established Centre for Responsible Leadership (CRL) at University of Pretoria, will be the keynote speaker.

The Pretoria campus comes as a result of a strong demand for specialist degrees in visual communication, design, creative writing, multi-media, photography, strategic brand and business management to open a whole new world of careers. Gordon Cook, National Brand Navigator commented that Vega's differentiator lies in their ability to graduate a new breed of brand thinker; one with the expertise to generate innovative and sustainable brand ideas that solve 21st century problems. As such all courses at Vega, both full-time and part-time, are taught within the context of creating, building and managing healthy sustainable brands. Vega Pretoria, currently situated in Hatfield, runs successful full-time and part-time photography programmes. 2011 will see the introduction of the BA Degree in Brand Building and Management and the Diploma in Integrated Brand Communications on a full-time basis, as well as the Honours in Brand Leadership and a number of short learning programmes run part-time.
